How payments & payouts work
- • Payments are processed by Stripe. To receive money, creators connect a Stripe Express account.
- • When a fan pays for an eligible paid widget, the charge is routed to the creator's connected account, minus the 12% platform fee.
- • Stripe processing fees may also apply. Stripe handles the creator's payout schedule.
- • Refunds are supported and may reverse the payment, transfer, and platform fee depending on the transaction status.
- • The Fan Wall is optional. Brand inquiries are free. A connected Stripe account is required for paid widgets.
The 12% platform fee is configurable and may change as the product evolves.
